The history.....

It's been 8 years since TheLatinVoice.com first launched itself to the internet world. Initially, TheLatinVoice name came from a radio program Ricky Ro was producing at the time, called La Voz Latina. La Voz Latina later changed its name to Fiesta FM and recently joined forces with Latinos FM, the program has been on air for over 10 years and has been the main backbone for TheLatinVoice from the beginning. The translation from spanish to english from La Voz Latina hence became TheLatinVoice. From it's early days, the aim of the website was to provide the community with an online medium of promoting local events with the scene.

The website has since grown over the years and become the most reputable Latin website in Australia. With the help of Nelson Rincon, joining the team at it's early stages to become an influential part of the project. In it's newest phase, 2009 promises to be an exciting year for TLV with new features, up to date events, and links with international partners. The new website design provides for a greater user experience and is in line with modern web technologies.

The new website will have heaps of new features, so this is just the beginning. Please be patient over the next months as we are continually updating and the improving the website.

Over the next month, we will have a beta testing period and officially relaunch the website in Frebruary 2009 with a huge Latino style event! Stay tuned for more details!

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of site's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
